COMPANY HISTORY
After many years of operating under John Hoover Well Service, a sole proprietorship that held, both, a ROC license and an ADWR license, our patriarch made the decision to retire. Wanting to move forward with a more structured business type, a corporation was formed. Hoover Drilling Company (herein known as HDC), an Arizona corporation was established in 2016. Though only two generations now operate the family business, the experience between all three of the generations that have worked to get us where we are totals over 80 years.
While John Hoover Well Service has ceased operations, HDC maintains the contacts and relationships that we have built over all those years. Ranging from large, complex agricultural, industrial and municipal assignments, to small domestic jobs, we provide a wide range of services from new water well construction to water well rehabilitation and repair, in addition to well casing videography and well abandonment. We manage our company with safety protocols and training, and are always available to produce estimates, project reporting and other tools that help our customers do their job while we do ours.
One of HDC’s main missions is to build healthy business relationships with our customers that last. That means we don’t just do the job at hand, we do it with the goal of complete customer satisfaction – accomplished by delivering a great product, excellent communication and stellar customer service. We believe in giving you the best possible solutions to your water well needs, and don’t rely on popular techniques that tend to cause more harm than good.

TOMMY HOOVER, PRESIDENT
Tommy grew up around water wells, learning from a very young age about them and the equipment used to drill and repair them. Operating rigs since young adulthood, he has a full understanding of wells and the problems they have, as well as the best solutions to those problems. With a good head for evaluating and consulting on projects, Tommy manages most of our daily operations.
While John has technically retired, he sometimes still weighs in while we brainstorm solutions for each individual job.
